Cursed Be þe Houre

Here's a fun break from the present. 

Colin Gorrie, a linguist, posted a story on his Dead Language Society site whose writing becomes earlier and earlier versions of English as it goes along. 

The story starts in the year 2000, as if the author is writing for a LiveJournal blog, and then the language jumps back 100 years every few paragraphs.

It covers a millennia of English. I made it to the 1200 section before I gave up.
