Everyone on BlueSky has been sharing a gift link to this Atlantic article about how a child dies from measles. I haven't read it because I don't feel as though I need to know a lot more about that, or to be convinced about vaccination.
But have at it if you want to.
Instead, I thought this was worth bringing here. It's a short Valentines Day poem by Jen Jennings, an education research professor at Princeton:
Roses are red
Measles is back
Your “personal choice”
Is a public attack
Roses are red
Measles is hot
“Just my decision”
Oh hell no, it’s not
Roses are red
Measles will spread
Your “health freedom”
Won’t raise kids from the dead
