Kashing in

I haven't followed the career of Kash Patel, the Trumpy attorney who was at the Defense Department very late in the former administration. At a glance, he seems to be under-qualified for all of the jobs he's had since he left his early positions as an attorney. Except the part where it says, post-2017, "Trump loyalist." He must be very qualified at that.

He's part of the plan to purge the government if Trump gets elected again, which is not a surprise. While appearing on Steve Bannon's show or podcast or whatever, he said as much. And while doing it, he was wearing a sweatshirt adorned like this:

In case that's not clear, I've put a couple of those slices together to make it clearer:

Yes, that's the Punisher logo, turned to Trump orange, and festooned with Donald's yellow hair.

It turns out putting Trump's hair onto the Punisher skull is pretty common among MAGA fans (try searching the words Trump Punisher icon, and you'll see all sorts of stuff for sale), but I didn't see any that were literally orange like this one, or a sweatshirt like the one Patel is wearing.

Patel is a guy who, some say, Trump is considering making attorney general of the United States, and here he is on camera wearing a cartoon death's head of the person who he thinks should be president.

We know who these people are. They tell us all the time.

I believe them.
