I'm trying to imagine a scenario where any Democrat could be running for Speaker of the House of Representatives, and someone like Rachel Maddow was making calls to pressure members of Congress to vote for the candidate.
If you had told me even two years ago that Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan would be close to being Speaker, and Sean Hannity would be openly pressuring members to vote for Jordan, I hope I would have said I didn't believe you. Because I still don't believe it now.
How does Hannity have a job at this point? I haven't even heard his actions complained about! I've heard Jordan's insurrectionism decried at least a little bit, but Hannity's involvement just seems to be accepted as part of the way things are now.
It will never be acceptable and is a measure of how much Republicans have degraded everything.
