There's probably a club for ghost-sign lovers. I suppose I should sign up or get on their email list if they have one. Here are two posted to Twitter by Rebecca Baird-Remba, a New York-based real estate reporter:
She wrote of them:
Construction workers were ripping out drywall in a Midtown office building and discovered two huge, 1940s-era ads that were painted on the brick underneath.Ahhhh.
Turns out they were originally painted on the outside of the attached building next door.
