We've lived in our house for just over 20 years, and this stuff has been out in the garage the whole time:
That package on the right contains a roll of black plastic. There's no way to tell what year it's from, but this detail makes me think it's at least 35–40 years old:
The homeowner also owns the housewife, see. A woman could never be the homeowner.
When did marketers stop referring to "housewives"? I'd say by the early 1980s at the latest. Does anyone remember differently?
