Lego Man

An old friend sent me a link to The Art of the Brick website, which shows the work of Nathan Sawaya, a New York-based sculptor who works only in Legos. (Thanks, Barbara!)

I know I've seen at least one of his pieces before -- it's called Yellow.


I found it disturbing and more challenging than the average Lego sculpture I had seen before.

Nosing around Nathan's site, I ran across this amusing image of the artist and his work:


You know a guy can't take himself too seriously when he's not only willing to pose for a photo like that, but actually posts it to his own website.
