Today was a day when I was happy to have a chocolate chip cookie for dessert at lunch and a chocolate muffin after dinner (during a meeting).
It was raining all day, which is a good thing in a year of drought, but still kind of dreary.
Walking in the rain and avoiding the resulting mud seemed like a metaphor for getting through the next week before the election. We'll see if there are any landslides or floods.
