Quoting Minneapolis City Council President Elliot Payne:
ACLU Minnesota reported yesterday that the federal government filed sworn statements that there are 970 agents in Minnesota for Operation Metro Surge and that 407 agents will remain here in March. It’s important to note this is on top of the 190 agents that were already assigned before this surge started.
So that's 597 agents that they plan to have here as of March, and at this point that 970 number is at least five times as many as were in the area before this thing started.
In other words, they lied to the faces of two members of Congress a couple of days ago when they said there were 500 agents here currently.
Is anyone surprised? Lying cat is not surprised.
