Well, well, well... the first half of January 2026. omfg, as they say.
It started with gentle Happy New Year messages. There was the 5th anniversary of the Trump-inspired insurrection at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, and then they launched into the invasion of Venezuela. Then some other miscellaneous demented stuff from the Trump regime, and finally the big ramping up of the ongoing ICE invasion of the Twin Cities, including the killing of Renee Good last week.
Everything below the line is in reverse chronological order, except some of the more timeless images, which I move up or down for better visual balance.

We must stress: The only violence is coming from CBP/ICE. They are rioting in the face of sustained nonviolent protests by thousands of Americans across the country. They are today’s Alabama State Troopers at the Selma bridge. They are Bull Connor’s police with firehoses in Birmingham.

If our authorities exist for the protection of the people, then the laws should exist for the protection of the people, not the protection of authorities. If the law exists for the protection of authorities, then the authorities do not exist for the protection of the people.... This shift isn't a framework that says it is legal to go out and shoot authorities; it is rather a recognition that, in conflicts between police and civilians, it is civilians who far more justifiably can fear for their lives, and civilians who are far more justified in defending themselves.

Minnesota is being terrorized by ICE. They are abducting people in 2 minutes or less from bus stops, cars, work. This is not enough time to check if someone is here legally. They are abducting and disappearing based purely on race. It was never about going after criminals, it's just terror.

My real question is — after losing their healthcare, paying $25 bucks for eggs, paying more in tariffs and watching trillionaires and oil companies thrive from pure, object grift, will white Americans still let racism keep them from happiness or is it worth it as long as y'all have someone to hate?
