I was at a thrift shop in Saint Paul's Midway neighborhood yesterday to donate some things. I had some time to kill before my next appointment, so I looked around the shop.
They have a newsstand where they sell donated magazines, and this is what was displayed prominently:
I didn't read that story at the time and I didn't pick up the issue now, but seeing it there in the midst of everything that's happening… I'll bet it didn't predict half of what has happened even in this short time. Destroying Social Security? Canceling student visas without notice?
