So the Trump campaign had a Klan bake last night at Madison Square Garden, and the media coverage ranges from close to accurate to completely inaccurate.
I heard NPR's reporter, who was present for the whole thing, try to describe it and she barely touched on how racist and howlingly sexist it was. But I suppose, who has time to cover it all within the confines of radio?
The anti-Puerto Rican lines are getting most of the news media attention, it seems, but there was plenty of other infamy that drew cheers from the crowd of Long Islanders and Staten Islanders. Steven Miller trotted out the "America for Americans" line. Where have we heard that before?
I think it will work against them in the election, but at the same time, they are creating permission for themselves as they flood the zone with new levels of shit.

Also reminiscent of the modern-day “Germany for Germans.” I didn’t realize there was a Klan slogan.
Stephen Miller's mother's ancestors fled pogroms in Belarus. He should know better.
