I saw this image shared on Twitter today:
It's a painting by Dean Ellis, which was on the cover of the 1969 paperback edition of The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury. It looked very familiar, so I'm sure I've seen the book at least a few times.
But the first thing I thought this time was, Huh, I remember thinking how appropriate that image is to that book's unusual title, isn't that weird. And now all I see is a person with a lot of tattoos…which is a pretty normal thing.
I didn't think I would ever get used to tattoos, but it looks as though I have, even though I still don't have one.
