I just found out that the podcast 99% Invisible is going to be doing a read-along and discussion of Robert Caro's 1,200-page book The Power Broker during 2024. I've mentioned the book a few times (here and here), and its subject — Robert Moses — several other times.
With guest co-host Elliott Kalan, Roman Mars plans to have a third special guest on each episode, since the book and its author have many fans.
Here's their introductory podcast on the subject, explaining what they'll be up to. The guest this time was Conan O'Brien, so in addition to hearing why he's been reading Caro since he was in college, you get to hear impressions of Jimmy Stewart and other famous people I can't remember right now.

Now I have to reread it for the first time in close to 50 years. I suppose there are worse things.
