A couple of weekends ago, I was doing some collage at a party where there was a stack of old National Geographics available to cut up. At one point, this ad was unearthed:
I don't know when these "clever" SUV and muscle-car headlines began about hitting things, driving over things, and generally behaving dangerously, and I wonder if anyone has collected them?
They turn up on Twitter sometimes. This one (from the late 1990s) is older than the ones I've seen in the past decade, but it's possible I wasn't paying attention earlier.
