It's Late

It's Sunday night, almost 10:30 p.m. central time. That means it's too late for my brain to write anything very coherent.

I've just been reviewing my posts from January 2021 to see how much of a record I made of the extreme events that year. It's entirely partial because I couldn't bear it. 

Just as this week, I haven't recorded anything here about the beginning of the 118th Congress in the House of Representatives. While it will show up in this month's Twitter round-up, that's not enough.

This country is exhausting. Time to go to bed and recharge for another day.
