Here's one last post from my visit to the Museum of Russian Art. This photo didn't fit with the other two topics (New Year trees and posters).
I don't think I've ever seen a ruble in person before:

Well, now I have. These are from 1961. It looks like these designs were in circulation through 1991.
There were also a number of coins on display, but I thought the paper bills were more interesting.
