She says she used the IRA Savings Calculator from Rewiring America, and based the graphic on a two-person home with a combined income of $150,000 in New York City.
Everyone's specifics will vary, since income and to some extent location affect the range of dollar amounts, so here's the calculator she used at Rewiring America.
