Soothing Bluebells

Ten people (I believe they are all Black people) were murdered in a grocery store in Buffalo today by a white supremacist who believes in so-called replacement theory. Also today, Minnesota Republicans nominated a candidate for governor who wants to lock up our current Secretary of State (who is a Democrat) and free the cop who was recently convicted for killing Daunte Wright. And of course the Supreme Court barrels toward declaring the only rights are the ones enumerated in the Constitution, or that existed when it (or other laws) were written, so that's… bad for anyone who isn't the kind of person who owned property in the late 1700s.

Here is my attempt to capture the fleeting beauty of Virginia bluebells from this year's Minnesota instant spring.

One horizontal attempt.

The first vertical.

The extreme close-up. Probably the best one...

Except this one, which caught the Golden Hour light.

Are these photos a non sequitur? I don't think so.
