End of the Day

It's been a tiring day, physically.

I spent a few hours pulling trash out of the area around a local pond that's one of the last remnants of the original wetlands that characterized this area of Saint Paul. Later I packed up the piles of books that have been sitting in my living room for a year. Then I dropped them off at the nearby library branch for its book sale, which will finally be held again in June after a two-year COVID hiatus.

Those books were heavy, or I'm getting old, or both.

Plus, I saw more people in person than I have in a few years, so maybe that's part of my weariness. I'm not used to it anymore!

Time for a nap. Or maybe a movie.
