I don't know about you, but I remember trying to visualize (back around a year ago, maybe?) what the last months before the 2020 election would be like. I knew they would be unimaginable, of course.
And here I sit with my damned phone buzzing just about every three minutes with a text from some campaign or other asking me for money or telling me to vote, Republican voter suppression in too many states to keep track of, Mafia Mulligan raving about one thing or another, and COVID laying waste to people and the economy because of his incompetence and narcissism, and it's just...
There are still 28 days to go.
I got this postcard in the mail today:
The back says it's from 100% Action, but from the return address I would say it's part of the organization Take Action Minnesota. They're running a campaign called Delivering Democracy, which is a place where Minnesota people can find info on how to vote, whether by mail, early in person, or on election day, including links for tracking your ballot if you vote by mail.
And they've also commissioned this series of artist-designed postcards to promote the site. This one is by Patricio DeLara. I have to say it's probably the best-looking piece I've seen this election season.
I have already voted, of course (using an absentee ballot, which I dropped off at my county election headquarters.)
