A Map of Mis(Informed)

From climate writer Alex Steffen, these words:

This is what a staggeringly successful misinformation campaign looks like on the ground.

The best thing you can say about this map is that at least the people in Miami and coastal Texas and California are more likely to realize warming will affect them, but few of those counties even break the 60-percent mark.

Steffen followed up with this, which was pretty much what I was thinking:
For the record, the percentage of Americans who will be personally harmed by the climate emergency is effectively 100%.

Indeed, though we don't like to acknowledge it, probably close to 100% have already been harmed, though often in still small and distant ways.
