Devah Pager

The American sociologist whose research found that black job applicants with no criminal record were less likely to be called back in a job search than white applicants with a criminal record has died.

Devah Pager, just 47 years old, was an associate professor at Harvard. At this point, her Wikipedia page still has her listed in the present tense, but Black Twitter (which in my feed is heavy on black academics) is very clear that she has died.
