And Now a Few Words About Rudy Giuliani

I'm from New York State. I knew who Rudy was quite a while ago, when he was the U.S. Attorney there. I remember hearing good things about him.

Then he became mayor, a while after I had left for Minnesota. Didn't hear too much about him out here until 9/11, and then he was everywhere, of course. America's mayor.

At some point — I'm not doing research on dates as I write this — he started to go down hill, and it accelerated until lately he seems to be in full dementia mode. (With apologies to people who suffer from dementia.)

Today Giuliani said that Hillary Clinton wasn't on the ground on 9/11. That could have been possible, or even reasonable given that she was a senator representing New York in WASHINGTON, D.C, at the time, but no. She was there, as shown in this photo, taken that day:

He also praised her for her help with post- 9/11 funding not too long ago. But now she's the Wicked Witch of the West who shirked her duties.

So which is it, Rudy — dementia? Or just completely craven Trumpian lie-blathering?
