Stock photos live in their own unreality; that goes without saying. But this one is particularly absurd:
Think back on preschoolers and finger paint. Making hand prints, maybe. The kids put their hands into some paint and then press them onto paper.
Do they carefully paint their hands with clearly defined colors in different areas? Not so much. If anything, the colors blend together and become browns and dark greens. Keeping those colors bright and clear is not something the kids are concerned about.
Why can't photographers let kids be kids?
