Walking Through the City on a Snowy Day

I went for a walk today for the first time since I broke my ankle. This is what the world looked like:

The falling or blowing snow meant I had to keep my head down, so I mostly looked at the snowy sidewalk (with or without footprints) and didn't notice the houses, plants, or cars around me.

It was almost a form of sensory deprivation and I found that the 15 minutes went by very quickly. A good return to the land of the moving.

One more step to complete healing! When I was out walking yesterday to the bus stop downtown after work, it was hard to see for the furiously falling snow.....
