I couldn't go to this morning's protest at the Saint Paul suburban Tesla dealership, but one of the other people who was there last week reported on BlueSky that last week's attendance of 18 more than doubled to 40.
Here are a couple of creative signs from today's protest in Golden Valley, a suburb just west of Minneapolis, which were posted to BlueSky:
These are clever signs but they're probably only readable by pedestrians, rather than car-drivers. I don't think they would be readable from a distance.
Like the eastern suburb dealership, the western location is very car-oriented — but it does appear to have a sidewalk on at least one side of the street, unlike the east metro spot:
The hand-painted banner reads "Don't test drive fascism – No swasticar."
In large spaces like this and the one in the east metro, with most of the audience going past in cars, more large signs or banners — probably with simpler messages — are needed.
Though I do love the Hair Hitler and Dogefather.
