A Glimpse of an Alternate Universe

My neighborhood grocery store has a bulletin board, well used by members of the community to offer housing, services, and whatever. There is a a good assortment of car keys and house keys tacked up there as well — left at the store or nearby on the street, I assume.

I love that bulletin board. Today I saw what may be my all-time favorite posting:


Somewhere in the area, it seems, a child will make me a mobile for $3.00. Alternatively, it's possible the poster came from an alternate universe to show us that there's a place where every day isn't a new level of official malfeasance and malevolence.
