The Secret of the Tube

Shhh. Don't tell anyone, but toothpaste isn't tamper-resistant.

I don't dare say that too loudly or one of the last packaged products in America that isn't a pain in the neck to open will be gone the way of the dodo.

I realized this morning when opening a new tube in a new box that all I had to do was open the flap and unscrew the top. No annoying piece of paper to pull off or disc of foil to puncture. Just toothpaste, waiting to be used.

It was so nice.
