Get Your Own Darn Logo

I recently realized that St. Paul Central High School's mascot logo is a complete and utter rip-off of the New England Patriots' logo:

(As you can see, flopping the artwork really made a difference.)

I'm not a sports follower, so even though I had seen the Central logo, I had never seen the Patriots' logo. But I'm willing to bet that lots of other people in St. Paul have seen the Patriots' logo, including lots of staff and teachers from Central High School.

These are the same people who are supposed to be teaching students not to plagiarize, of course. Maybe they could ask an English teacher to explain "irony."
