What IS That?

An ignominious beginning to a blog, I know, but I've got to start somewhere.

This piece was in today's USA Weekend magazine, which comes in the Sunday newspaper.

I inadvertently missed the first page of the Cook Smart article, and as I turned the page, I saw this set of photos:



What would you think it was? I immediately saw it as some type of insect or pupa being dissected. Ewwww!

But what it actually is, in fully cooked form:



A stuffed turkey breast with spinach and crispy potatoes. Now that sounds more like it. Yum.
