I don't bother linking to New York Times articles that are paywalled, much as I love Jamelle Bouie.
Jason Kottke quoted from a couple of Bouie's recent columns, which is good enough for me. He included substantial bits from "Donald Trump Is Done with Checks and Balances" and "The Guardrails Failed. Now It's Down to Us."
