No Place Like Home

Ah, the Sunday Homes section of the Star Tribune. Once again, I am confounded. This was the front-page headline:


And this is the house where they think the reader will "feel like home":


Egad, does anyone think that feels like home? Does it even look like a home?

What a monstrosity. This American obsession with millwork gewgaws and windows of every shape is about as far from home as you can get.
