The Webs of September
From a day back in September when it was warm as summer, on a day in late October when the sun is shining but it's cold enough that I had to put away the hoses, I give you Miss Spider:
At Afton Apple Orchard among the raspberry bushes.
Miss Spider looks quite plump and pleased with herself. I see so many spiders in this apartment building -- they somehow get in from outside. The owner doesn't take care of the building's exterior so we have spider webs everywhere around windows and attached to lights. Makes me want to take a power washer to them!
