It's always great to learn something from Sarah Taber about the reality of farming. Today it's how farming could work (and used to work) in the U.S., and still works in a few areas.
She calls it, "Can farm jobs be good jobs?"
It's such a shame the majority of voters in North Carolina couldn't see past partisanship to elect her to be their commissioner of agriculture. (Also weird to me that it's an elected position, but that's another story.)
