Today's ultra-outrage in Los Angeles among all the outrages was presaged by the arrest of Newark Mayor Ras Baraka and New Jersey Rep. LaMonica McIver. When those didn't elicit enough outcry from elected officials, it was almost inevitable that someone farther up the elected food chain would face handcuffs from this regime.
California Senator Alex Padilla was not arrested or detained, he says — only manhandled out of a room he had every right to be in, forced to his face on the ground by three grunts, and handcuffed. All this while his staffer who was recording was told recording was not allowed. Which is clearly not true.
Immediately after the outrage, fascist Barbie Noem went on Fox News and lied about what Padilla did. She claimed he lunged at her and that he didn't identify himself, both statements that are clearly countered by the video anyone can see for themselves.
The thing that may not get as much attention is what Noem had said just before Padilla attempted to question her:
We are not going away. We are staying here to liberate the city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that this governor and that this mayor have placed on this country and what they have tried to insert into the city.
This, of course, was not long after the regime announced it plans to deploy troops in other U.S. cities — obviously for the same purpose. What do we call that?
Apropos of all this, Boston Globe reporter Peter Bailey-Wells shared this on BlueSky:
Just checking back in to see where we stand on this Boston Globe fake front page from pre-election 2016:
