Saint Paul has an ordinance that requires drivers who park to leave 30 feet from the end of their vehicles to the corner at intersections, and 5 feet to the edge of the apron of alleys or driveways.
Today I found a parked car at the edge of my alley that was not only not 5 feet away from the edge of the apron, it was overlapping 5 feet into the apron of the alley. I called parking enforcement, hoping the driver would get a ticket before they left the area so they would learn not to do it again.
As I was calling it in, I noticed this sticker on the back of the car, which seemed to be a case of "physician, heal thyself" or some equivalent. Take your own advice, driver of the little white car.
Maintain safe distance next time you park.
