A Bargain in OK City

Bloomberg reporter Stephen Dennis freestyles on BlueSky on the #FridayNightZillow hashtag, where he posts photos of the most outrageous houses he can find on the Zillow listings.

Last Friday he posted about a $16.5 million house outside Oklahoma City, currently owned (and I assume built) by a defense contractor/marijuana processor. Interesting skills confluence!

The buildings are more than 50,000 square feet, and are on 36 acres. There's a party barn where the owners can park their extra vehicles and boats, play basketball indoors, and host concerts on the built-in stage. The house has a bowling alley, and there's a pool and outdoor basketball court.

The color scheme is, as one commenter said, more Nickelodeon Studio than anything else:

The comments on the thread are almost better than the photos:

First thought: "who dusts that?" Bet her name is "Conchita," and her immigration status is... complicated.
Petrarca

That's an interesting business pairing, considering DOD employees cannot legally consume cannabis.

It's like Walt Disney and a Playmobil designer shared shrooms and bad muscatel when working on this together.

The interior design "mood board" was just some cocaine on a skateboard.

We don't tax the rich enough.
American Fietser

The price has been knocked down by $10,000, so let's not all wait too long: this baby is going to move fast now.
