The Myth of Nonviolent Resistance

A while back, I saw a friend share this series of graphics about how nonviolent protest works in reality,  and have been meaning to post them. They come from a magazine I hadn't heard of called Wear Your Voice.

The Right's attempt to use Maxine Waters' visit to Brooklyn Center in April, and particularly trying to censure her for using the word "confrontational" when they won't censure members of Congress who voted to overturn the election, bring guns to the House floor, question whether Muslims should be able to serve in office, and call for white supremacy... It fits together with this kind of thinking.
