I am only vaguely aware of the concept of brow threading, though there's a whole (empty) storefront devoted to it in Har Mar Mall in Roseville, Minnesota:
Four chairs, no waiting!
But I wouldn't be writing about this if there wasn't a graphic on the back wall of the shop that caught my eye:
What is this vaguely humanoid visage, with its eyes set wider than a pair of ears and its single nostril set just above the top lip? Why is a pouty mouth telling me to keep smiling when it's not smiling? And why is the Keep Smiling lettering ready to poke the alien visage in the eye?
