Today is International Women's Day, which I managed to forget for most of the day because I was really busy. Now I'm finally catching up on some Twitter this evening, and among all of the positive posts, I saw this by writer Parker Molloy:

But I have to say, I learned from this that there is such a thing as International Men's Day. So maybe I have finished ahead.

International Women's Day is a recent development I think. I didn't even know there was an International Men's Day. I wonder which came first and if the other was then created in response to it. :-)
