I didn't buy it at the time but now I realize I have to go back and grab one (and see if they have the companion book, Counting on Community). Both are by Innosanta Nagara, a Bay-area designer and illustrator.
The page that got me at the time was this one:
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWsgwaf_QOQfxTpDuPsOh0upL-BbDtzQpyTrMCS8wW7T4_Wg1bNuzBgaHznswYqXHjPXBz7Vg8RU_z2N0Z6G6DpV4KHR7tJg5l8kXeRyNetamZGeeLRxUaqijnjbvov8xMzSEousVVFOA_/s400/c-is-for-coops.jpg)
It reads:
C is for Co-op.I wish I'd had a copy of this while Daughter Number Three-Point-One was growing up. Poor kid. She's visited half the food co-ops in the country.
Cooperative Cultures.
Creative Counter to Corporate vultures.
Oh, and Cats. Can you find the Cats?
