I've hung in there with Trevor Noah as the Daily Show finds its way in the post-Jon Stewart years. I like it best when Trevor brings the perspective of an immigrant to our culture and current events. I generally approve of the new correspondents (even Jordan Klepper, who seems a bit over-used and occasionally irritating, though I guess that's on purpose).
But last night's Halloween special — which is set in the year 2020 on the eve of President Trump's first reelection effort — was probably their best moment ever. It's dark and science-fictiony and just the right thing for the week before this $*(#$@! election.
Please watch it.
