There's a vacant Macy's store in downtown St. Paul. It's currently owned by the St. Paul Port Authority (yes, we have one of those, surprise!). They've been looking for someone to buy or lease the building.
Well, good news — they've found a purchaser for a good-sized chunk of the main retails floors. But this is how the Star Tribune described it:
Two practically nameless companies, one based in the corporate nirvana Delaware, are connected in a vague relationship and together they're planning to turn the space into a retail "concept."
That is just so exciting, I can hardly wait.
