A Real Lone Wolf

It seems as though the phrase "lone wolf" has been reassigned to its metaphorical meaning, which is a perpetrator of violence who acts alone -- sometimes with terroristic intent, but clearly not working in connection with an organized group.

Well, I'm proud to say that Minnesota is home to at least one actual lone wolf:

When I read this headline in the paper today, at first I thought some guy with a gun or a bomb was following snowmobilers. But then I realized they meant a literal wolf.

Just another thing the media mavens on the coasts can't understand about life in flyover land.
