Radley Balko: Days of Future Past

Radley Balko -- author of Rise of the Warrior Cop -- had a clever but painful commentary in the Washington Post for New Year's (reprinted in the Star Tribune). Titled Civil Liberties and Justice: Predictions for 2015, the piece makes over three dozen predictions of ways our civil liberties will be undermined in the upcoming year.

Some of them sounded awfully familiar, but there's a good reason for that.
