It's no secret that I'm an anti-fan of Star Tribune illustrator Eddie Thomas. I thought I was done talking about him, but today's front-page Variety section art was so bad I had to show it here:
It's for an article in a recurring essay series about the months of the year; this one is supposed to represent July.
You know, the month where peg-headed, faceless women with radically asymmetrical bodies hitch their baskets to the sun, which is about to burn them to death... or something.
