I feel bad for the hotel on Minneapolis's West Bank, near the University of Minnesota. I think it used to be a Radisson and/or a Holiday Inn at some point. But now it appears it is just a Hotel.
A big pile o' bricks with a function but no identity. Looking into it a little further, I found out it's called the Hotel Minneapolis Metrodome, referring to a nearby building that is not long for this town.
Maybe they're keeping their options open by not replacing the expensive lit sign.
