If you're ever in Missoula, Montana, head over to Burns Street, not far off of Broadway, and contemplate this modern mystery:


It appears to no longer be open for business, whatever that business was. There's only one reference online that was helpful.

Inferring from that blog writer's reference to buying funky books, tea cups, and a hat, I have decided it was a general used goods store, selling anything that struck the owner's fancy. It's in a hard-scrabble part of town, so that fits.

I'm sorry it's closed. I'll bet the person or people who ran it were excellent company.
