I remember being in my 20s and dealing with situations akin to this nearly every day. (Most) men have no idea what type or how much harassment young women go through when they enter public places.
What amazes me is that it stops at some age. Not that older women don't get harassed or raped; they do. But the constant barrage ended for me by 35 or 40. It's not just a correlation that it ends when our appearances change to mark us as no longer young enough to be fertile.
Don't the many men who harass women in public places realize they are acting like apes?
